In accordance with the state law and district policy, the following due dates for evaluations must be met. Failing to complete the evaluations by these dates may violate an educator’s rights with regard to evaluation.
Provisional and probationary educators are to be evaluated at least twice in a contract year. Career educators are evaluated every year.
If a provisional teacher is hired before the Last Day for Full Year of Credit, two evaluations must be completed.
Evaluation Due Dates 2022-2023
First Evaluation for Provisional and Probationary Educators must be completed by November 11, 2022.
The originals of the JPAS Feedback reports and the JPAS Observation/Interview Forms must be completed on Perform by December 21, 2022.
Second Evaluation for Provisional and Probationary Educators and the evaluation for Career Educators must be completed by March 6, 2023.
The originals of the JPAS Feedback reports and the JPAS Observation/Interview Forms must be completed on Perform by March 31, 2023.
Licensed Interim Evaluations must be started and approved by evaluators at the beginning of the school year no later than October 31, 2022. Interim evaluations are completed in the TalentEd Perform system. All interim end of the year evaluation reflections are to be completed by May 31, 2023.
